The last week was quiet around here. But busy elsewhere, where I spent what energy that I have back on doing good deeds for a dollar.
And this weekend is snowy, rainy and quiet. Just the way it needs to be.
And yes, I have some shopping done. It won't be a total scary thing in a few weeks.

Ugh. I have very very little shopping done. Just the "Big" present from Sam's (a cool play kitchen that both babies will adore and that will leave little plastic pieces of fake food all over the place for Husband to get spooled up about). But I digress.
Not looking forward to the shopping when it finally will happen in about, what, two weeks? Ugh!! When will I have time?!?!!!!
We have a bit left, but took the time over the weekend to really push the issue. I just hate this all so very much- always do. The pressure just makes me crazy. Don't even talk to me about cards. Fucking cards...
zombie, the kitchen thing rocks. G girl has had hers for a year now; i love finding fake, plastic, lead-paint covered food around my new place.
sly...with you on every point regarding xmas. since the little one is not w/me this xmas, we are not even doing a tree. no lights, cards, trees, no nothin'. it's a pleasure, let me tell you. and family and friends be damned. this is who we are. take us. or leave us the hell alone.
So funny- I had the conversation with my mother about the card thing. And how much I HATE THEM. She called me misanthropic and tried to guilt me. "Don't you like getting them, though?" No, mom. I don't care that much. I would prefer a call. And there you have it. Says Miss Anthrope.
