Listening to some ass on the Today show discuss saving money. I didn't put the Today show on, by the way. I would never do such a thing. All of the polished, enforced good cheer does me in. First thing in the morning, even. Wears me out. I don't know how to deal with all that. Is it expected? That I induce that kind of cheer in my own life? I don't think I can live up to that expectation. Not really.

Not this early in the morning.

we've cut cable.
everything we watch (Daily Show, PBS Frontline/NOVA, and movies) is online. Hulu.com has added documentaries, as well. The house is much more peaceful and quiet w/o TV.

We still have cable but we hardly ever watch much since the tykes really really like to be outside burning wood and swining on their fort. :) But I refuse to miss my few shows. They're all DVRd, and I enjoy zapping the commercials.

We have the discussion about cable. But it's now F1 season, so we are locked into something with a DVR- because I won't get up at 4 AM to watch a bloody race. Even if I love it so much it hurts. Well, maybe not that much. But enough.
