I don't know that they look happy. Shiny, yes. Dead, yes. Happy? Probably not, as they most likely suffocated to death.
However, seeing their dead bodies proudly on display, I was reminded of the Pope.
I think it's creepy that so many people are flocking to see a dead body. I mean, it's a DEAD BODY. It's not the Pope anymore. Oh well. They can do what they like- there's just no dignity in death. ^_^
